Sharing many similar experiences, we each found our own way to real estate, fueled by a passion for helping people and an entrepreneurial spirit. When our paths crossed, we saw an opportunity to blend our backgrounds and values to make a difference, using our strengths to help others achieve their dreams and give back to the community we love!

Chris: In 2015, during a half marathon, I injured myself with a stress fracture, bone spur and plantar fasciitis. While I recovered, I couldn’t help but question: What would happen to my career if I faced a serious injury? With two sons, Cayden and Connor, I had to provide for them no matter what. This injury made me realize my career in hospitality didn’t offer true stability. I wanted more control of my future and my finances.

Growing up, my stepmom, a mortgage broker, often took me to open houses. I was always fascinated by the stories and histories of different homes and the sense of joy and accomplishment that came from helping clients find the perfect place. Native to the area, I recognized an opportunity to use my knowledge to help others achieve their dreams in the community I love.

That same year, I got a real estate license and joined John L. Scott Real Estate, where I quickly felt at home, thanks to the welcoming environment. As I settled into my new profession, my background in hospitality was an incredible asset, as I knew how to deliver great customer service and solve problems quickly. Real estate completely changed my life, giving me the chance to connect with so many unique individuals within the community on a deeper level. It has also allowed me to grow a legacy for my sons, creating something I can pass down to them in the future.

Through real estate, I met my partner in both business and life, Ashley. We connected in 2019, bonding over our shared backgrounds and values in real estate. Our complementary strengths quickly evolved into a professional partnership and personal relationship. Together, we share a deep passion for real estate and a commitment to community service.

Ashley: From a young age, I was exposed to the real estate industry through my father, a mortgage broker. My sister and I would get paid to help him out, preparing flyers or sending out letters to earn extra money. While I knew I never wanted to get into the lending side of real estate, the industry had always fascinated me.

For years, I focused on what I loved: connecting with and serving people. This led me to the East Side of Seattle, enjoying the social aspect of hospitality and the break it provided from the structured corporate environments. It wasn't until a friend inspired me to think about real estate as a viable career that I decided to get my license in 2018. Everyone stressed how hard real estate would be, so I didn’t expect to make it my full-time career.

Focused on relationships and earning trust, I built a strong repeat and referral business. When Chris and I connected, he encouraged me to join his brokerage, where support and comradery are core values. In 2021, I officially became a full-time Real Estate Agent, embracing the entrepreneurial spirit I inherited from my family.

Chris and I’s relationship has strengthened our business, allowing us to provide a comforting presence for our clients. We bring empathy, expertise and a personal touch to each interaction, making every transaction as  seamless and positive as possible. Our strengths have created a dynamic that instills confidence in our clients, ensuring they feel supported and understood at every step of their journey.

Together, we have shaped our lives around the things we love. We absolutely love what we do and feel grateful every day to share our passion and knowledge with others. When not working, we are often with the kids and our dogs, Ziggy and Chewy, and cat, Gracie, trying new restaurants or traveling!

For us, real estate is about building relationships and contributing positively to the community we serve. Each Christmas, we spearhead a local initiative in Lynnwood, where we organize fundraising events and collect gifts for children in need through the Forgotten Children’s Fund. We dress up as Santa and an elf, filling a U-Haul, our makeshift sleigh, with presents for these families. On Christmas Eve, we personally deliver these gifts, providing children the opportunity to take photos with Santa. We also include food cards and essential groceries. Every fall, we rally our neighbors to collect food for local banks—we love getting everyone involved and having fun while doing something positive. This spirit of giving back is such an important part of who we are.

For our clients, we organize client appreciation events and educational seminars, ensuring we remain connected and contribute positively long after closing. We want to empower people to use real estate as a valuable tool in creating stability and financial security. From first-time homebuyers to luxury properties, every client who works with us receives the same white-glove experience!

Sincerely,
